How to move PrimoDock to another Mac or another PC, and what to do when the old computer is already gone.
What the licence covers
- 1 Mac and 1 Windows PC of your own, active at the same time, never someone else’s.
- One year of updates from the date of purchase, on both systems.
- The version you have works forever, even after that.
- If you bought when the licence covered 2 Macs, you keep both, and you get the PC as well.
Changing computers with the old one in front of you
On the old Mac, open PrimoDock Settings, go to Licence and release that Mac. On the old PC, open PrimoDock’s Licence window and click Deactivate this PC.
The seat frees immediately and the new computer activates normally. A Mac only ever takes the Mac seat, and a PC only the PC seat.
The old computer is sold, lost or wiped
At primodock-activation.oprimo.dev/licence, with your licence key, you can see which computers are active and free the one you no longer have. You do not need the old computer, and you do not need to write to anyone.
A Mac or PC that comes back after a wipe is recognised and reclaims its own seat, so that does not cost you a second one.
I lost the key
It is in the purchase email. If that is gone, write to apps@oprimo.dev from the address you bought with and we send it again.
If the page does not sort it out
Write to apps@oprimo.dev with your licence key. We free the seat from our side and answer within the same working day, and it is a person answering.
