Windows 11, x64 and ARM64. The app updates itself, no administrator needed.
0.7.0-beta
19 October 2026 A clock in the Dock, pinned tray icons, three new widgets and a round of fixes asked for on the board.
- Clock and date: with the taskbar hidden, the time shows at the end of the Dock in Windows’ regional format, with the date if you want it. A click opens the calendar.
- Tray icons in the Dock: pin other apps’ icons, like Discord’s voice dot, next to battery, network and volume. From the button in the tray panel, by dragging to the Dock, or in Settings. Works with the taskbar hidden completely.
- Quit and Empty Recycle Bin: right-click an app to quit all of it, in every workspace, and the Recycle Bin to empty it.
- New widgets: Keyboard Layout (switch layouts with a click), Codex Usage (plan limits and tokens) and OpenCode Usage (cost and tokens by provider).
- Fix: windows of an Edge or Chrome profile other than the default count as the pinned browser, instead of each click opening a new window.
- Fix: resting the pointer on the other monitor’s taskbar no longer carries the Dock there.
- Fix: an app that stops responding no longer freezes the Dock with it, nor shows as a blank icon.
- Fix: switching workspace with the mouse button down no longer throws or clicks the wrong icon.
- Fix: activating a licence works on a Windows without the Visual C++ runtime.
0.6.0-beta
14 October 2026 Widgets that match your icon pack, as on the Mac.
- Widgets in your pack's style: widgets wear the icon pack you use for every app, with the same container, colours and type. The 12 packs in the gallery come ready.
- Always readable: text and marks are adjusted until they have enough contrast on the pack's container, warning colours too, like a low battery's.
- The Timer and Pomodoro progress line follows the outline of the pack's container and starts at the top centre.
- Prefer PrimoDock's own look? Turn off Settings › Appearance › Widgets follow the icon pack.
0.5.0-beta
12 October 2026 The Icon Gallery and the IconStudio arrive, the same as on the Mac.
- Icon Gallery: packs ready to dress up your Dock, with a featured pack and cards that say how many of your apps each one covers. Install, use on the Dock, stop using and uninstall in one click. New packs get a "New" mark and a count in the sidebar; installed packs update on their own. Packs come with the licence (and the trial).
- IconStudio: draw an app's icon from letters, a picture of yours, the app's own icon or any icon from a pack, on a background with a gradient, angle and gloss. The preview shows it in the Dock between its neighbours. Save it to one app or use the style on all of them at once.
- Icon from the Dock's menu: right-click an app, a folder or Downloads and pick its original icon, one from a pack, or a picture of yours (PNG, ICO, JPG or another program's icon).
- Appearance › App Icons: swap every icon for a pack, previewed on your own apps.
- Made for Windows: the Mac's packs recognise Windows apps (Edge, File Explorer, Settings, Terminal, Recycle Bin, the Start button…), in English and Portuguese.
0.4.0-beta
October 12, 2026 The Dock works with more than one monitor: it goes to the monitor you are on, or there is one on every monitor, each with its own workspace.
- Follows the pointer: the Dock is no longer stuck on the main monitor. Rest the pointer on the Dock's edge of another monitor and it moves there, like on the Mac. It works across monitors at different scales.
- On every display: turn it on in General › Monitors and every monitor gets its own Dock, with its own workspace. Switching workspaces on one monitor only touches its windows; the others stay as they are. A window opened on or dragged to another monitor joins that monitor's workspace, and a workspace's windows come along when you open it on another monitor.
- Panels on the right monitor: window previews, tray icons, widget panels and the Start button's apps open on the monitor of the Dock you clicked, at the right size for its scale.
- Start on the other monitors: Windows only opens its own Start on the main monitor. On the others, the Start button opens PrimoDock's apps in the middle of the screen, and Settings says so.
0.3.9-beta
October 12, 2026 The Dock no longer bobs up and down by itself during full-screen games.
- Full-screen games: with the pointer hidden by a game and resting on the screen's edge away from the bar, the Dock kept coming up and going, with the mouse standing still. A hidden pointer no longer brings the Dock up, and once the Dock goes with the pointer on the edge, it comes back only after the pointer leaves the edge and touches it again.
0.3.8-beta
October 9, 2026 The purchase screen takes a creator's coupon.
- Creator coupons: under "Have a creator coupon?", type the coupon a creator gave you. The discount shows right away, with the old price struck through, and works for Pix, card and US dollars. Coupons belong to PrimoDock's partner creators, through criador.studio.
0.3.7-beta
October 8, 2026 The Dock steps aside for full-screen apps, fits the screen with many apps, and no longer mixes up windows across Windows' desktops.
- Full screen: with a game, a video, a slideshow or the browser after F11, the Dock stayed on top. It now hides, and the pointer at the screen edge still brings it up.
- Fits the screen: with many apps open or pinned, the Dock ran past both ends of the screen, taking Start and the status square with it. The icons now shrink until it fits and grow back to the size you chose when there is room, like the Mac Dock.
- Windows' desktops: a window on another virtual desktop (Win+Ctrl+D) was forgotten by PrimoDock and, on the way back, went to whichever workspace was active. It now stays in the workspace it was opened in, and windows a workspace minimized come back when you enter it.
0.3.6-beta
October 8, 2026 The tour shows your Dock before you customise it, and Windows' Start opens on its own again.
- The Dock in the tour: the taskbar step now comes before the theme and the pet. Hide the taskbar and the Dock takes its place, so the theme and the pet you pick change on it as you go.
- The licence at the end: the offer is now the tour's last step, and "Skip the rest" takes you there.
- Start on its own: hiding the taskbar in the tour only set it to auto-hide, so Start brought it along. The tour now hides it completely, and Start opens by itself, over the Dock. If you already went through the tour, pick "Hide it completely" in Settings › General.
0.3.5-beta
October 8, 2026 The tour lets you pick a theme and shows the licence in two columns, and the Windows version is now called a beta.
- Beta: PrimoDock for Windows is in beta. The version and the installer say so, and everything you tell us helps get it ready.
- Pick a theme in the tour: all 15 themes, the seasonal ones moving. The Dock arrives wearing the one you chose when the tour ends.
- The licence in the tour: in two columns, as in PrimoEngine. What it unlocks and the price on one side; e-mail, paying in reais or dollars, and "I already have a key" on the other. Continuing on the trial sits in the footer.
- Switching workspaces in the tour: the mouse wheel is drawn, and the third way is now the right-click menu.
- Workspace switcher: the dots at the start of the Dock are off on a new install. Turn them on in Appearance.
- Tour titles: the page titles and the price show again.
0.3.4
October 8, 2026 The welcome tour shows again the first time PrimoDock opens, sized to your screen.
- Welcome tour: since 0.3.2, with the Start button in the Dock, the tour did not open on a new install. It opens now, with Start drawn as the Dock draws it.
- Sized to the screen: the tour takes at most 80% of the screen and shrinks as a whole on smaller or high-scale screens.
- One at a time: on the first run, the Dock arrives when the tour ends instead of sitting behind it.
0.3.3
October 8, 2026 The music cover always shows, and the licence's new price.
- Music cover: when a track restarted or the next one began, the widget could stay without its cover until the song changed. The cover now shows as soon as the player publishes it.
- Licence: US$ 9.99 or R$ 34,90, paid once, for 1 Mac and 1 PC.
0.3.2
October 8, 2026 Widgets that open a panel, a to-do list, and battery, network and sound in the Dock.
- Widget panels: as on the Mac, clicking a widget opens a panel over it with more detail and its controls. The month's calendar, clock, 7-day forecast, battery, timer, pomodoro, system activity, network, countdown, time progress, Claude usage, water, screenshots and files. A click elsewhere closes it.
- To-do list: a new widget to jot down, tick off and clear to-dos, right in its panel.
- Battery, network and sound in the Dock: a square at the end of the Dock shows all three; a click opens Windows' quick settings, and the chevron shows other apps' icons.
- Start button: on by default, first in the Dock, and you can drag it anywhere.
- Widget search: the widget gallery has a search, as on the Mac.
- Stacked monitors: with a monitor below (or beside) the Dock and "Hide and show automatically" on, the Dock no longer bobs up and down while the pointer is on the other screen, and it fades out instead of sliding onto it.
- Defaults for people coming from the taskbar: the Start button opens Windows' Start, and icons grow a little under the pointer, as on the Mac. All of it can still be changed in Settings.
- Fixes: status icons change colour with what's behind them, the Dock adjusts when the display's scale changes, and the caret in text fields sits before the placeholder.
0.3.1
October 8, 2026 Windows' Start on its own, icons on rounded tiles, and the Dock's size on its divider.
- Start without the taskbar: the new "Hide it completely" mode hides the taskbar for good. The Windows key (or the Dock's Start button) opens just Start, floating over the Dock. The taskbar comes back when you quit PrimoDock.
- Mac-style icons: each icon is sized to match the widgets and, when it isn't a square, sits on a rounded tile, as on macOS 26. In Appearance you can pick just "Same size" or keep them as they come.
- Size on the divider: click, hold and drag the Dock's divider to make it bigger or smaller, as on the Mac.
- Updating without the tray: with the taskbar hidden, an update shows up in the Dock's menu, in Settings, in PrimoDock's Start and in a note above the Dock. "Check for Updates…" is in the Dock's menu.
- Windows off the Dock: the Dock's strip is reserved again when Explorer restarts or the display changes, and snapped windows left under it move back above it.
- Widgets: text shrinks to fit before it is cut; the clock shows big digits, with AM/PM and the city underneath.
0.3.0
October 8, 2026 The Dock at the top, a Start of PrimoDock's own and a new workspace editor.
- Dock at the top: it sits at the top of the screen while the taskbar and Start stay at the bottom, where they always were. The open-app marker, the bounce, magnification and names all point down.
- PrimoDock's Start: the Dock's Start button opens a floating panel with all your apps, search and power buttons, without bringing the taskbar back. Windows' own Start is still one setting away, in General.
- Workspace editor, redone: Workspaces as tabs; drag to reorder them (and their Ctrl+Alt+number). Duplicate in one click. Each workspace's Dock is drawn on your wallpaper: drag to reorder, pull off to remove, right-click to rename. Every installed app, with search: double-click or drag onto the bar. Folders and files in a list of their own.
- Music: previous, play and next each have their own spot to click; the rest of the widget opens the player. With the widget in the Dock, Spotify (and other players) no longer shows up again as an open app, and the widget wears the marker.
- Smoother: gliding scroll in settings, widgets that follow the icons' magnification, and theme changes without a mixed-up look halfway.
0.2.0
October 8, 2026 Themes, widgets and customisation: the Windows Dock catches up with the Mac.
- 15 themes: Native, Liquid Glass, Midnight, Rocket, Aqua Shelf, Neon, Canarinho, Paper and Floating, plus six seasonal ones. Halloween, Haunted Night, Candy Corn, Christmas, Snowy Night and Candy Cane. With bats, fog, snow, falling leaves, cobwebs with a spider, slime, twinkling lights, jack-o'-lanterns and little ghosts.
- Make each theme yours: colours, opacity, border, glow, corners, reflections and each decoration, with "Restore".
- Your way: the Dock at the bottom, left or right, icon size, bottom space, hover effect (none, scale or magnification), opening animation (bounce, pulse or shake), and a dot or dash indicator in any colour.
- Hide and show automatically, and maximized windows that stop above the Dock instead of going under it.
- Drag to arrange: drag icons to reorder them or off the bar to remove them, and drop apps, files and folders from File Explorer to keep them. Spacers too, and an optional Start button.
- Widgets in the bar, as a square or a wide card: Music (Spotify, browsers or any player), Calendar, Battery, Clock (digital, analog and world), Timer, Pomodoro, and Weather with a forecast. Note, System Activity, Network Activity, Drink Water, Screenshots, Files, Countdown, Time Progress and Claude Usage. Stack widgets in one place and switch between them with the mouse wheel.
- New pets: Santa and a little Ghost that floats above the bar. Put out food and your pet comes running.
- Searchable settings: find any option by name, in English or Portuguese.
0.1.4
October 8, 2026 PrimoDock comes to Windows: one Dock for each thing you do, on the same licence as your Mac.
- A real Dock: a glass bar where icons magnify under the pointer, an icon that bounces as its app opens, and a dot under every open app. Open apps you haven't pinned get a section of their own.
- Clicks do what you expect: an app comes to the front, minimizes if it already was in front, and steps through its windows when it has several.
- Live previews: rest the pointer on an icon to see that app's windows, click one to go there, or close it straight from the preview.
- Workspaces: each one has its own pinned apps and its own windows. Switching tucks away the windows of the one you leave and brings back the ones of the one you enter. You start with Work, Personal and Focus, each in its own colour.
- Three ways to switch: Ctrl+Alt+1 to 9 from any app, the mouse wheel over the Dock, or the dots on the bar.
- Nothing gets lost: every window stays in its workspace, even after PrimoDock restarts or quits unexpectedly.
- Right-click an icon: keep it in the Dock or remove it, move its windows to another workspace, close them, open a new window, or show the app in File Explorer.
- A pet on your bar: cat, dog, bird, dragon, dino, warrior girl or warrior boy, in several coats. It runs when your PC is busy and naps when it's quiet.
- The Windows taskbar: keep it visible with the Dock just above it, or hide it while PrimoDock runs. When you quit, it comes back exactly as it was, even if PrimoDock closed suddenly.
- Settings in PrimoDock's own look: Workspaces: rename, recolour, add, delete, and unpin apps. A pet picker with a walking preview. Taskbar, open at startup, updates, shortcuts and licence.
- A walkthrough on first launch: it shows your own Dock switching workspaces and sets up the pet, the taskbar and startup with you.
- One licence for Mac and PC: the same key activates PrimoDock on one Mac and one PC. You buy inside the app, by card in US dollars or by Pix or card in reais, and it activates itself as soon as the payment lands. A 7-day trial with everything included, no card, no account.
- Small, automatic updates: PrimoDock downloads new versions on its own, usually under 200 KB, and restarts only when you choose.
- Languages: English and Brazilian Portuguese, following your Windows language.
